My Client is looking to recruit a Technical Support person to be based in Stuttgart.

Description:

To provide broad technical support to the European printer business.

Provide a strong technical representation to the business and the necessary administrative support for the department’s smooth running.

Deal with technical issues with Resellers, providing quick and supportive responses. Follow through longer term issues to ensure reseller satisfaction.

Track and record technical issues, provides reports as required by the business.

Assist internal and external sales with technical issues. Where time allows, provide presales technical support, at the reseller or major end user projects.

Deliver technical training when required, using ones own initiative to organise these.

Take responsibility for ones own resource allocation, carefully manage priorities.

Ensure the region is supported effectively by co-ordinating activity and availability with other members of the technical team. Provide coverage support for other members of the team as required.

Take responsibility for cost management in all aspects of the role, including such aspects as: hardware (parts and equipment etc), travel and expenses, time management (opportunity costs)
